Andrea shares intuitive tools that she has cultivated over the course of her life, to aid others in exploring their creative generation of aspects of their lives. She is a life-long intuitive practitioner and visual artist. Her art work is generated by nature-based ritual practices she began learning as a young child. She shares these practices in connection with her exhibitions, in residencies, workshops, and with individuals. Her father taught her self hypnosis at age 6. A shaman who was a family friend taught her drum journeying at age 9. She also grew up learning dream work, shiatsu, and energy healing techniques. She has since worked with various teachers and healers globally. In between her BA from Oberlin College and her MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute, she was certified in shiatsu and energy healing. She still often trains with one of her favorite shamanic teachers and participates in dream work with one of her long-time intuitive practice teachers. She continually expanding her toolbox.
Healing the human connection with the earth is integrated into Andrea’s group and individual work. In 1996 she discovered that her intuition was as active at certain ruin sites as it had been with her clients. In 2015, she was invited to attend an artist residency in Sicily, Due South, and had direct intuitive connection yielding healing vision at various pre-Greek, Greek, Roman temple ruin-sites. She has been returning annually and exploring other sites globally. In her art and intuitive work, she shares her experience of these sites as portals for connection with the elements, spirit beings, and ancestors, teaching tools for personal and collective healing and transformation.
